Local Counsel Services

CASTAYBERT PLLC provides local counsel services to assist a client’s primary counsel in matters in which the client has been sued or needs to file a lawsuit in New York.  As local counsel, the firm assists primary counsel in filing pro hac vice motions, counsels on the nuances of local practice, procedure, legislation, regulations, case law, and judicial rules.  The firm also provides advice regarding the issuance of subpoenas, motions in aid of discovery, jurisdictional motions and the domestication of foreign judgments in New York.  Once retained as local counsel, CASTAYBERT PLLC works closely with the client’s primary counsel to help determine the most efficient and cost effective route to meet the client’s needs.
