Mr. Klion has over 25 years of experience negotiating and preparing agreements for the lease, construction, and operation of retail stores and business offices throughout the U.S. Scott has represented both landlords and tenants, from independent operators to national brands, and has handled transactions ranging from the simple and straightforward to the exceptionally complex.

The scope of Mr. Klion’s expertise in commercial leasing extends to regional malls, outlet centers, mixed use facilities, street front properties, and office buildings to full-price, discount, and pop-up stores to office suites, event space, and corporate headquarters, and to lease, sublease, renewal, surrender, and amendment agreements.

From his many years as General Counsel to Escada (USA), and before that as Associate General Counsel to Tiffany & Co., the world-renowned jewelry company, Mr. Klion knows what is and is not critical in a lease or development project and the traps and pitfalls that often lie beneath the surface. And from his extensive in-house experience counseling senior management in other business areas such as employment, marketing, finance, and logistics, Mr. Klion enjoys both a unique perspective and a heightened sensitivity to subtle but no less relevant issues and concerns on the part of both tenant and landlord.

Mr. Klion currently serves as Of Counsel – Real Estate to Perfumania, the largest fragrance retailer in the U.S. with over 370 retail locations throughout the country, handling all of their retail leasing needs.
