Steven Levy is the founder and owner of the Accent Law Group, Inc., a dedicated intellectual property law firm, and counsels CASTAYBERT PLLC on intellectual property matters including trademarks, searches and clearance, analysis, strategy, registration, and enforcement.

In his over 25 years of practice, Steven’s experience in the field of intellectual property has been quite broad, covering all aspects of trademark clearance, prosecution, licensing, and dispute resolution, as well as many areas of copyright law. He has also developed a particular focus on the enforcement of trademark rights against Internet domain names and social media usernames and is a regular speaker, blogger, and commentator on this topic. Steven has handled tasks as varied as building an international portfolio of trademarks and copyrights for a Fortune 500 company, negotiating and drafting sponsorship, licensing and IP joint-venture agreements, enforcing and defending his clients’ rights through negotiation and arbitration, and creating and presenting many educational programs for his clients at all levels of staff and management.

Steven’s career has involved work both in-house and in law firm environments, which gives him a unique perspective on the need for both quality work and maximizing one’s legal budget. For nearly a decade Steven led the intellectual property practice team at The Home Depot and was a senior associate at Proskauer Rose LLP.
